About Aime:

Being a helper is a passion of mine and started the moment I realized that kindness is what the world needed.

Since graduating with my Social Service Worker Diploma in 2006 and then a degree in Psychology in 2008, I have worked in multiple settings in different roles. The strength and bravery that I have seen in people when they feel heard and validated encouraged me to get a Masters in Counselling Psychology and become a Registered Psychotherapist in 2018.

From my years of professional experience I have assisted many who where suffering in silence and did not know how to ask for help. Whether it be a one time single session or long term, having a space to express yourself can bring relief and perspective. I believe in finding ways to talk about our truths, challenges and goals while receiving validation and compassion. In the counselling space you will have time to pause, reflect and gain an understanding of self while creating a plan to move forward in your wellness goals.

I use a collaborative approach as I believe every person is an expert in their own lives and needs individualized support. The therapeutic approach that I use is eclectic and combines strategies from narrative, trauma-informed, solution focused, client-centered, dialectical behavioural and cognitive behavioural therapy.

I invite you to create the “we” in wellness and encourage you to continue to look for support. If booking a 15 minute consultation is the fist step, please reach out via phone or email.
